Linda Kunos has over 20 years of experience in scholarly publishing and has played a key role in developing CEU Press’s list as well as commissioning works across a broad range of subject areas. She holds degrees in English and Scandinavian Studies from ELTE, Budapest.
As senior commissioning editor for CEU Press, Linda welcomes book and series proposals focused on the history of Central and Eastern Europe in the 20th century, particularly during the communist era, the Cold War, the Holocaust, and the post-communist period. She is also open to proposals in gender studies, critical Romani studies, art history and literary studies. Her specific interests include, but are not limited to, the history of ideas, history of science and medicine, and labor history. Linda also welcomes proposals with the geographical focus of Russia, Eurasia and the Baltics.
